Wauzeka April 9th 1886.
Dear Papa & Carrie.
I will have a few lines to you to let you know how we get along and that we have got that shrubary ready to send we will send it the 10th or the 12th of this month Grandpa will take it down tomorrow or Monday if possible. We put in all that we could find so as to fill the box. We put butternuts in ? the roots to eat they are to dry to plant they will not grow I buried some acorns and hickory nuts and butternuts last fall but the ground is frozen so hard that I could'ent get them. Most of the ? we had set out over on our old place is dead Kreeche's did not take care of them. Grandpa got all he could. The tame plumbs have? not got any label
